I've been writing ever since I can remember. (Don't worry, I've outgrown my eight-year-old obsession with Comic Sans and exclamation points).

Before starting my own business, I worked first as a journalist for international humanitarian aid groups, and later as a Communications Manager. I spent years spearheading hundreds of digital communication projects while rallying teams of photographers, designers, and writers.

It was during this time that I began to understand just how much of success (and failure!) comes down to clarity, connection, and story.

  • I watched well-intentioned nonprofits struggle, simply because they couldn't put words to their mission in a cohesive, compelling way. Time that could've been spent engaging donors was wasted slaving over mission statements and watered-down Instagram captions.

  • I saw incredible CEOs getting passed over for speaking opportunities because they didn't know how to build digital authority. Their ideas were untapped, leaving their voice watered down into corporate jargon and once-a-year LinkedIn posts. 

It was in this ecosystem that I created my consulting practice with one purpose: to give people the tools and confidence to share their story with real impact. 

And let me tell ya, it works. By leading with story instead of noise, one of my recent clients grew their social following by 58%—and their email engagement jumped +98%, with newsletters earning twice as many clicks.
