You'd be surprised. This is the thing I hear most often, and it's almost never true. What I've found, after years of sitting across from founders and executives and leaders of all kinds, is that the story is always there. It just takes the right questions to draw it out. What does the book writing & editing process look like?
We start by spending real time together in conversation. We'll book several sessions over a few weeks where I get to know how you think, what you believe, and what this book is really trying to say. From there I'll build the architecture of the manuscript and begin writing, chapter by chapter, in your voice. You read, we talk, I refine, repeat! It's a careful and intentional process, but if we nail your voice from the get-go, revisions are usually the quickest portion of the process.
How does LinkedIn ghostwriting work?
At the start of each month we'll hop on a call and you'll tell me what's been on your mind. I'll also pitch some ideas based on my research around trending conversations and insights relevant to your particular industry. I'll take all of that and turn it into posts that replicate your style (while integrating algorithm-best practices to boost engagement). Then, you'll review everything before it goes life, and over time the whole process will get easier as I learn your voice and we build out your digital authority.
What are the storytelling sessions like, and how long will it take to get my assets?
The Story Intensive is a focused day spent in conversation together. I ask a lot of strategic questions (informed by a Brand Audit I'll complete ahead of time), you talk, and I listen for the themes that will tie everything together. Then I go away and write. Most deliverables land in your inbox within 24 to 48 hours of our session, depending on scope.
